2. What we collect

We collect only what you give us directly, when you send a booking request, a quote request or a message:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Preferred date and number of participants
  • Any notes you choose to add

We do not collect payment data. This website does not process payments and never asks you for card details.

3. What we use it for

  • Responding to your request and organising the activity — pre-contractual steps and performance of the contract, at your request.
  • Contacting you by email or phone about that specific request.
  • Meeting legal obligations, in particular tax and insurance ones.

We do not use your data for marketing without your prior, express consent, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Who we share it with

Your data is accessed only by the Douro Aventura team. We use service providers acting as processors:

  • Resend — sending confirmation emails.
  • Our website hosting provider, which keeps the pages and the form running.

We do not sell or pass on personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

5. How long we keep it

Requests are kept in our email account for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet applicable legal obligations, in particular tax ones. After that they are deleted.

6. Your rights

At any time you may ask for access to your data, its correction, its erasure, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing. Write to douroaventura2015@gmail.com.

If you believe the processing of your data breaches the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD.

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or improper disclosure. The connection to this site is encrypted (HTTPS).

8. Changes

This policy may be updated. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
