Do I need to know how to swim?
For the water activities, yes — we strongly recommend it. A life jacket is compulsory on all of them and there is always someone supervising, but being able to swim makes the whole thing more relaxed for you and for us. If someone in your group cannot swim, tell us when you book and we will work out which activity suits best.
What is the minimum age?
It depends on the activity. Water balls and inflatables suit almost every age; the jet ski and water skiing have tighter limits. Minimum ages to be confirmed
Tell us when you book how many children are coming and how old they are, and we will confirm what is possible.
What if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If conditions on the river do not allow the activity to run safely, we contact you to move it to another date at no cost. Since you only pay after our confirmation, you never have money tied up waiting for a reschedule.
How does payment work?
There is no payment on the website. You send a request, we check availability and reply by email or phone. Only after that confirmation should you pay, by MB Way or bank transfer. The details come with the confirmation.
We never ask for card details, on the site or over the phone.
MB Way is a Portuguese mobile payment app. If you are coming from abroad, a normal SEPA bank transfer to our IBAN is the simplest route.
Is sending a request the same as booking?
No. A request tells us what you would like to do and when. The booking is only confirmed when we reply to say we have availability on that date. We usually reply the same day.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Since you only pay after confirmation, cancelling before payment costs nothing — just reply to the email or give us a call.

What should I bring?
For water activities: swimwear, a towel, shoes that can get wet, sunscreen and a change of clothes. For cycling: comfortable shoes and water. All technical and safety equipment is provided by us.
Do you cater for groups and companies?
We do, and it is a significant part of what we do. For groups, the banana boat and towable tubes and the inflatables work particularly well. Ask us for a quote with the number of people and the kind of event, and we will come back with a proposal.
Do you speak English?
Yes. We regularly host visitors from abroad, and this website is available in Portuguese and English.
