What we set out to do

Douro Aventura is an adventure tourism company based in the Douro Valley. What we set out to do is give visitors experiences worth remembering, exploring the natural beauty of the Douro actively and with a good deal of fun along the way.

What we do

Whether on the water of the Douro river or exploring the landscape on land, Douro Aventura is a good partner for a day out. We have activities for people after adrenaline — jet ski, water skiing, towable tubes — and for people who prefer a slower pace, like kayaking, stand up paddle or a bike ride through the terraces of the valley.

We work with individuals, families, groups of friends and companies. There are activities for every age and every level of fitness.

The team

The Douro Aventura team are trained, committed professionals, whose job is to keep participants safe and make sure they enjoy themselves — individually or in a group. What we do is adapted to each customer.

Looking after the river

We put sustainability and the preservation of the Douro ecosystem first, and we keep to responsible practice across every activity. The river is where we work, and we treat it accordingly.
